Notes on Short Film

It's about a story, not a boring report.
It needs a story teller, not just a voice over
It needs a beginning and an end.
It needs a plot.
It needs characters.
It needs a clear Point of View ( we're seeing reality through whose eyes? Who is the story teller?)
It needs atmosphere.

I think your ideas will start to flow when you're into the site - feeling it, thinking... like I said.

So here's the deal... the week after next, when we've all begun to CAD our stuff, we will all present an idea for a story for the film. So we'll have 28 ideas. Post it on blog and discuss in class the next day so we argue and choose the best idea (or combination of ideas.) Then we'll go away to develop the film script, and get cracking.
