Feng Shui in Temple

1. The beams and columns inside the temple mostly is in cylinder shape because in chinese word (圆满, yuan man) means harmony, where the first word 圆 means round in English. Hence, we can see that those beams and columns inside Sin Sze Si Ya temple are in cylinder shape.

2. The RWDP is placed inside the temple as the rainwater from the roof will flow from outside towards inside and towards underground. According to Feng Shui, it is believed that it will bring wealth towards the temple as the rainwater symbolize wealth.


3. Chi Lins must come in a pair flanking gate or front door or both as it will guard against wandering spirits entering the temple. Placed near the doorway ensures protection for visitors/prayers when they go out. (Retrieved from book of Feng Shui World)
