islam and temple

its been a long week for me, myself being in the temple for measuring and video documentation. The Temple served me well, im felling comfortable and safe every time, better than the outside of that place. This temple keeps me calm and i want to share something about what is the most question people ask me when i enter the temple as  a muslim believer.

Q :can muslim enter the temple or church
A" Yes we can, its not `haram` (recognized by islamic universal scholars or authorities)
as long we dont do any destruction, or enter with no reason. (period)

an exposure to a different world is very important nowadays,
`Seeing is believing` not because i believe on their religion but because of

  1. knowing the importance of cultural sensitivity and humility
  2. as an acknowledge the country where you live, its culture and be to others as you would have them be to you
  3. what you give is what you get

Getting access to different cultures is important in appreciating the positive aspects of our multicultural society has to offer and as an architect it offers me to learn more about the form and function and how it serve to the people(user)
